How To Use?

We Love Our Customers, And We Hope You End Up Loving Vulxies

Therefore, we developed this online step-by-step guide for you to find your rhythm with Vulxies. The first step is to boil your disc and silicone cover, once it is clean, you are ready to start your journey with Vulxies.

It Is All About The Practice

Practice makes perfect, even when it comes to new period care. We've been there ourselves. With these tips and tricks, we hope it will become easier for you.

  • Vulxies Disc

Vulxies sits behind the pubic bone, resting comfortably in the vaginal canal. Its unique design and flexible material allow it to conform to the body's shape, ensuring a secure fit without the need for suction or vacuum.

  • Tampons

A tampon, is inserted into the vaginal canal where it absorbs menstrual blood. The tampon expands as it absorbs the blood

  • Menstrual Cup

Traditional bell-shaped menstrual cups have to be folded and unfolded inside the vaginal canal to create a vacuum, which keeps the menstrual cup in place.

    Tip #1

    How To Insert

When inserting, it can be beneficial to do a little loop. So once the discs enter the vagina, you aim down towards your feet and simultaneously back towards your tailbone. Once it is far back, you push it backward and up towards your spine. Then you click it behind your pelvic bone. By standing up, while holding a finger on the rim of the disc, you should be able to feel if it can stay in place by itself. If not, it is most likely because the disc is not placed correctly under the cervix, allowing the cervix to push out the disc.

    Tip #2

    How To Remove

Once Vulxies is in place and you want to take it out, a good method is to tense your abdominal muscles. By doing this, your cervix will be lowered and push the very top of the disc out of your vaginal canal, making it possible for you to remove it with a finger.

    Tip #3

    How To Empty

Emptying is done by inserting your finger, pulling the disc out a bit, and tilting your abdomen so the blood goes into the toilet. You can either push it back in, or if it has been in place for 12 hours, remove it and wash it with mild soap

    How To...

"How To Have Sex With Vulxies In?"
Don't be shy; we have been asked this question a million times. And, to be honest, the answer is super simple. It is just like how you would normally like it. The only difference is Vulxies is resting against the cervix or the 'roof' of the vagina, making sure you and your partner stay mess-free during the act. ❤️

    Tip #5

    Stay Leak Free

Adjusting to a new menstrual product may require some time. We recommend our users to try using Vulxies when not on their period. This way, you can become comfortable with inserting and removing the disc without risking any leaks. During the first 2-3 cycles, we also advise emptying the disc regularly to understand your flow and determine how long you can go without emptying. Additionally, using a pad as backup ensures leak-free protection.

    Tip #6

    Stay Comfortable

On your 3rd cycle, you have tested out different lengths of time, how heavy your cycle is, and how to best place the disc. You are now ready to rely on Vulxies as your new best period pal. No matter if you want to go on a run, swim, or stay in bed.
